What information does ChatGenius capture from DMs?
ChatGenius picks up names, email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses as customers share them in the conversation. It doesn't ask for each field like a form, and it checks the format of an email or phone number before saving it.
How accurate is the data capture?
It handles the messy cases, like an email mentioned in passing or a phone number typed with spaces, dashes, or a country code. Emails and phone numbers are validated before they are saved, so typos and junk don't end up in your lead list.
Does ChatGenius integrate with CRMs?
Yes. ChatGenius includes automatic GoHighLevel CRM sync out of the box. Captured leads are pushed to your GoHighLevel account with all extracted fields mapped. If you have no CRM, the Google Sheets integration appends every lead to a spreadsheet in your own Drive. For other CRMs, you can use the Webhook API add-on ($29/mo) to forward lead events to any system with an API.
How does lead scoring work?
Each lead receives a score based on the completeness of captured information and conversation signals. Leads are also assigned a temperature: hot (ready to buy, explicit intent), warm (interested but exploring), or cold (early-stage inquiry). Temperature updates as the conversation progresses.
Can I export leads?
Yes. Your contacts, with the details ChatGenius captured, can be exported to CSV from the Contacts section of your dashboard. You can also sync leads to GoHighLevel, Google Sheets, or Klaviyo as they come in.
How does ChatGenius handle privacy for captured data?
Lead data is separated by account, so you only see leads from your own pages. Data is processed in line with Meta's Platform Terms. Customers share their information voluntarily in the conversation, and ChatGenius never scrapes or reads anything outside the DM thread.
