How long does it take to set up?
A simple keyword reply takes about 30 seconds. Pick the word that sets it off, write what it should say, turn it on. A longer conversation with questions and branches takes maybe 10 minutes, and a template or the AI generator does most of that for you.
Do I have to build on the canvas?
No. Choose Simple reply and you get a short form instead: what starts it, what it says, any photo or PDF, and up to 3 buttons. It saves as a normal flow, so you can open it on the canvas later and add more without starting over.
Which channels do flows run on?
Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp DMs. You can keep a flow on one app or run it on all of them. WhatsApp needs the Professional plan and a connected number. Telegram and SMS are handled by the AI assistant instead.
What node types are available?

Can I use AI and flows together?
Yes, and most people do. A flow handles the predictable part, and an AI Step takes over for the messy questions before handing back. AI Handoff passes the whole conversation to your assistant. Anything no flow matches goes to the AI anyway.
How does the AI Flow Generator work?
Write one sentence describing what you want, like "ask for their email and phone, then book a call." The AI builds the whole thing, connections included. Nothing goes live until you look it over and turn it on.
What's the difference between ChatGenius flows and ManyChat?
