Your comment-to-DM automation sent a link and the dashboard says hundreds of people clicked it. You want the names, and ManyChat shows you the top 25. That exact question came up on the ManyChat community forum this week, from someone sitting on 594 clicks. Here is what you can and cannot do about it.
1. Why ManyChat stops at 25
The who-clicked view on a ManyChat automation is a top-25 widget with no export button. ManyChat also has no contact filter for "clicked this specific link." A ManyChat community moderator confirmed both in the thread. So the click count is a number, not a list: ManyChat counted the clicks, but nothing recorded who made each one in a way you can pull out later.
2. The workaround: tag people on click
You can turn future clicks into a segment you can use.
- Add a tag to the link button. Open the automation, click the button that holds your link, and add an Add Tag action alongside the URL.
- Test it on Instagram before you trust it. There are reports that extra actions on an Open Website button do not fire on Instagram, even though they work on Messenger and WhatsApp. Click your own link from a test account and check that the tag landed.
- If the tag did not fire, add one step. Point the button at a next step instead of the website, apply the tag there, and send the link as a message. One extra tap for your follower, but it applies every time on every channel.
3. Getting the list out
ManyChat has no one-click CSV export of contacts. The documented route is a Google Sheets Insert row action inside an automation, sent as a broadcast to everyone with your click tag. A broadcast that only contains an action sends no message, so nobody gets pinged. It just writes the rows.
ManyChat's own docs put Google Sheets at about 250 rows per 100 seconds. Send more than that at once and rows can be rejected and lost, so split a big tag into smaller broadcasts.
4. The clicks you already have
Tags only apply from the moment you add them, and ManyChat cannot filter contacts by a past link click. If your automation was only counting clicks, there is nothing to rebuild the list from. It is worth asking ManyChat support to be sure, but as of this writing those clicks stay a number.
